Reduced Grape Juice and Walnut Pudding

Water 1 1/2 cups 300 g
Duru Coarse Bulgur 1 cup 160 g
Reduced grape juice (pekmez) 1 1/2 cups 375 g
Walnut meats 1/2 cup 50 g

Servings: 4

Construction

Place water in saucepan,bring to boil;add bulgur and simmer till soft.Mix pekmez and remove from heat.When cool,add crushed walnuts and pour into serving dishes, or if desired sprinkle walnuts.(Karagenç,Kahramanmaraş)

Note

Kırma is traditionally made in summer,without walnuts,and stored .In winter,it accompanies eggs fried in butter.
