Poppy seed 1 cup 135 g
Duru Çiğ Extra Fine Bulgur/düğü) 1/2 cup 80 g
Milk 3 1/2 cups 700 g
Granulated sugar 1 cup 180 g
Walnut meats 1/2 cup 50 g

Construction

Roast poppy seeds and crush.Place bulgur,poppy seeds,and sugar in saucepan,mix well to avoid lumps.Gradually add milk,stirring.Cook over low heat,continuing to stir till pudding consistency.Remove from heat and ladle into serving dishes or dampened baking pan.Place in refrigatör 2 or 3 hours;serve as is or cut or into shapes,topped by copped walnuts.Good with bread for breakfast or for the early morning repast during Ramadan.
